Our Process
Prepare, Reflect, and Continue Your Journey
We believe the journey begins long before you lace up your boots and continues well after you leave the trail. Our resources are here to support you at every step, with information to help you prepare, insights to deepen your experience, and guides to help you integrate your trek’s lessons into daily life.
Before Treks
Before your trek, we work with you to determine your goals and needs. We provide you with the following resources to help you feel prepared and confident:
Gear Guide: Everything you need to know about what to pack for your trek, from essential gear to personal items. Each participant also receives an Inward Bound journal for reflection on the trail.
Physical Conditioning Guide: Pre-trip exercises to build strength and endurance, so you can embrace the journey with confidence.
Hydration & Nutrition: Pre-trek guidelines to fuel your body for the physical demands of an off-trail adventure.
During Treks
Besides getting from Point A to B each day, the trek will also incorporate emotional exercises:
Guided meditations,
Journaling prompts, and
Designated solo reflection time.
These practices encourage participants to stay present, connect with their surroundings, and process their experiences.
After Treks
The magic doesn’t end when the trek is over.
Now, it’s time to digest what you learned during the trek to your everyday life. Besides physical recovery, we also meet with you to process the mental and emotional aspects of the trip.
Recovery Plan: Practical tips for post-trip rest and recovery to help you maintain the benefits of your experience.
